We are thrilled that Social Value Portal features in the inaugural Tech200 list. This is a comprehensive overview of the fastest-growing tech solutions in the public sector.
TechUK has partnered with Tussell on this new initiative. Using data on UK government spending, they have highlighted us as one of the 200 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK public sector last year.
Tussell use their data to tell the stories behind what is happening in public sector tech. This list will run annually to highlight the most interesting up-and-coming firms. It will provide an objective overview of how tech companies in the public sector have grown, year on year.

The list was collated using records of change in public spending between FY 2019/20 and FY 2020/21. One initial observation that has come from the Tech200 is the importance of the public sector ecosystem. It proves that the technology scene is not a traditional hierarchical market you might see elsewhere.
The vast number of firms on the list includes advisors, experts, specialists, resellers, and managed service providers. There is a thriving role for these firms, in building the network of technologies and solutions that are vital in transforming public services.
Tussell provide data-driven insights and business forecasts that help companies grow in the public sector, using their market intelligence platform. Several criteria were used to identify as many technology firms as possible, and all entrants have been manually checked to validate their relevance.
