It's everyone's place
Our place-based collaborative approach to social value creation focuses on a single geography. We work to engage all parts of a community to help them regenerate and thrive: healthier, greener, fairer.

Our vision for every community
A place-based initiative taps into the community spirit of everybody and every business that lives and works in the area. It galvanises the power of collective action to help a community flourish.
We’ve three key aims for each community.
- We want a fairer, healthier, sustainable, inclusive, and locally-rooted economy where wealth is fairly shared.
- We want to regenerate our environment, where people are supported into and progress in well-paid, secure jobs.
- We want to see assets and resources within the local economy create prosperity and opportunity for all.

How do we get there?
There are many different ingredients that we need to combine to help communities thrive. Our journey to social value requires radical collaboration, and a keen understanding of how different parts of society function on a macro and micro level.
It’s about breaking down traditional ‘silos’ to see collaboration across all sectors; across public, private and third sectors, and with the everyday citizens. Encouraging a collective sense of ownership and responsibility to ‘place’ is vital to make a community really flourish
We help place-makers to develop a coordinated programme of spend and investment, delivered though day to day operations and activities.
