What accounts are available?

There are three main types:

Member: This provides access to our online social value measurement tool, alongside additional support and features. To find out more get in touch

Supplier: This is for suppliers who want to register to tender for a project. To access a supplier account, you’ll need an invitation-only link from the procuring organisation. 

Free trial: Never used the Portal before? Explore the benefits of using a social value calculator before you upgrade to member.

Is Portal training available?

Yes. When you become a member of Social Value Portal, you’ll have access to a wide suite of resources. Beyond this, a Social Value Advisor will train you on all aspects of the Portal, the National TOMs, and how to implement social value in your organisation. 

If you’re not currently using Social Value Portal, you can register for a free Portal account here and create your own social value  journey.

Do I have to pay?

To report on your verified social value data against the widely recognised social value framework, sign up as a member. To find out more, please get in touch

Suppliers can register for an account and make a social value submission through their invitation. Once the contract is awarded, there may be a fee for contract management support, communicated through the procurer’s tender documents. This is based on a percentage of the contract value and paid by the winning bidder only.

How do I register for a tender?

You will need to follow the link that has been provided by the procuring authority and is included in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.

Getting in to the Portal

How do I log in?

To log in to the Portal, you will need to use the unique username you were provided with when you initially registered with Social Value Portal.

Typically, is looks like this: firstname.lastname@socialvalueportal.com.

If you are not currently using the Portal as a supplier or client, you can sign up for a free Portal trial account here.

How do I reset my password?

To reset your password you will need the unique username you were given when you initially registered with Social Value Portal.

Typically, it looks like this: firstname.lastname@socialvalueportal.com.

If you have forgotten your username, you can contact our customer support team.

I am getting an error when trying to log in

Please take a screenshot of the error and send it, along with your query to our customer support team.

Why have I not received an email?

Sometimes your inbox filters emails from us through to a junk or spam folder, so you might want to check there first. If you still can’t find the email, please contact our customer support team.

Do suppliers have to pay?

If you are bidding for a project, there is no charge to use the Portal to register and make your social value submission.

Once the contract for a project is awarded, there will be an annual fee for contract management support which is communicated within the project’s tender documentation. This fee is based on a percentage of the contract value and is to be paid by the winning bidder only. You are then provided with further access to the Portal where you can manage your social value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

How can I learn more?

Once you sign up for an account, you’ll have access to our support site with easy, fast, and reliable information – directly accessible through the Portal.

The support site features a search bar to find answers on ‘how-to’ questions, helpful guidance articles on commonly-used processes, and a system to raise help tickets directly with our support team, so you can get the help you need quickly.

The support site also includes guidance for suppliers, members and robust section on the National TOMs. To access the site all you need to do is log in.
