Having been founded by Guy Battle, a Social Value pioneer, Social Value Portal is incorporated as a social enterprise.

Founded to establish and promote best practices for integrating the Social Value Act. It is an open network and welcomes any organisation that wishes to help support our communities through Social Value.

Created in partnership with thousands of Social Value practitioners, the TOM System is the leading standard for measuring, reporting and amplifying your Social Value.

Social Value Portal secures a £3 million series A funding round with investors Beringea.

Social Value Portal aligns the TOM System with the Social Value Model framework following the release of PPN 06/20.

The rapid growth of the Social Value Movement sees the team expand to over 100 specialists.

With new growth and objectives on the horizon, Social Value Portal secures a second round of funding led by Mercia, with support from Beringea.
