Webinar – A beginner’s guide to social value in the North

Our Social Value in the North webinar series returns on Wednesday, 16 June, 14.00 – 15.15 (GMT) with A beginner’s guide to social value in the North’.

The North has been at the forefront of Social Value since the Public Services (Social Value) Act was released in 2012. However, there are still challenges around delivery, measurement, reporting, and ensuring what is being delivered is right for the communities in which we work and live.

The aim of this webinar is to shed some light on how the public sector is reflecting the needs of their communities through procurement and contract management activities. Additionally, we will also discuss what constitutes a good offer and how the supply chain can support their clients in delivering the relevant social value.

We will be joined the following speakers who will each present, followed by a Q&A session:

Ashley Morgan – The Social Value Portal

Cindy Nadesan – The Social Value Portal

Sasha Walton – Leeds City Council

Paul Atherton – STAR Procurement
