Vacancy: Research Intern
We are recruiting for one or more research interns to support the TOMs, Data and Insights Team at the Social Value Portal (SVP). The ideal candidate will be a current undergraduate student (or recent graduate) in Economics, Sustainable Development, or related field. This is a great opportunity to gain first-hand professional in a fast-growing field that could lead to a permanent employment.
Location: We are flexible about the working location for the role. Consistent with current COVID guidance, it is likely that this role will have a significant home-based component for the foreseeable future. However, we hope that some teamwork based in our offices will take place over the coming months, so our preference would be for the individual to have the ability to make periodic visits to one of our two main offices (London or Manchester). We also have serviced offices in Cardiff and Edinburgh available for occasional use.

The successful candidate will support the Senior Researchers driving the design and implementation of new innovative and intelligent solutions and the promoting the delivery of social value by providing intelligent training to internal and external stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Conduct research tasks with minimal or no supervision both independently or as part of the team
- Review of literature and models
- Analysis and evaluation of quantitative and qualitative data
- Write basic reports
- Assist in the design of training material
