Proactis continues its focus on social value through sourcing with new Social Value Portal partnership
Proactis, the global spend management and B2B eCommerce company, has announced a new partnership with The Social Value Portal to help ensure that social value is delivered in sourcing processes.
The Social Value Portal is an on-line solution that allows organisations to measure, manage and maximise the contribution that their organisation and supply chain makes to society, according to the principles laid out within the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 and which requires commissioners and procurers to consider social value in the design and procurement of services.
The new partnership will provide both public and private sector organisations with the ability to include social value in their tenders and contracts utilising the integration between Proactis and The Social Value Portal, making it visible and measurable in the tendering process and beyond into the management of the contract. The partnership already has mutual customers, and these customers provide the benchmark which others can now benefit from.
The solution is fully compliant with Government and EU Public Contracts regulations, as well as the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, and ensures that all buyers adhere to procurement processes and meet social value requirements both in the tender and through the contract. The whole process is fully transparent and auditable for buyers and suppliers.
A recent example of this is with West Midlands Combined Authority, where SVP helped unlock Social Value-Add of +34.56% and also at Legal & General who used the portal for a recent multi-million commission for new FM services contracts.
