    Contractualising Social Value in Planning

    Despite the growing importance of Social Value in planning policy, there is currently no standard approach to contractualising Social Value through the planning system.

    This report sets out the Social Value Planning Taskforce’s recommended guiding principles for contractualising Social Value for a more consistent approach to embedding Social Value in planning through contractual agreements. This will help the sector maximise the Social Value delivered to communities through new developments.
